I too remember all the tubes and the “underglow” lights plugged into cigarette lighters. The police loved to pull us over for “impersonating an emergency vehicle” when we had them on and were driving. They never ticketed us though lol.

Doesn’t anyone else notice how much this thing is squatting with that quad in the back!? That doesn’t bode well for actual payload capacity. Not that many people actually put anything in the beds of trucks any more.

Most of the normal trucks I see travel a few miles a day, to an office or grocery store not a job site. The majority of pickups could be replaced by mini-vans that would do just as good of a job or better than what the pickup is being used for. 

I was thinking about using this as an excuse to get a switch. Thought I could incorporate the kids and doing something kinda active during the next 6 months of winter. Curious to see if anybody has actually played this and how it was.

Our Explorer is a comfy road-tripping machine. It eats up highway miles. I barely want to drive it in my yard, let alone do any actual off-roading with it, though.
