I chose the wrong profession. If only I had the money to shell out $12 grand a year to multiple people.

I like the idea of Medicare for all, but I think the better benefits provided by most employers will be more money going in their owners, executives and shareholders pockets. 

But the admin staff, the custodial staff, maintenance staff of your ISP are all employees. None of them provide internet service. Should they be independent contractors? What about marketing staff or any other support staff?

Also keep in mind that a lot of these places are turning this financing into actual credit card accounts now. Found that out when we bought our son’s bed and financed it because 6 months same as cash, why not? A couple weeks later we got a credit card in the mail and took us a bit to figure out what it was.

This system is so stupid. I have a bunch of department store cards I signed up for when I was younger that I haven’t used in years, and won’t use again because I don’t physically have the cards, but they will ding my credit big time if I close the accounts.

Aren’t untrained eyes the vast majority of eyes looking at this though? The C pillar looks a little weird I guess. That blue/green color is pretty cool, and honestly if I was in the market for a new car this would be right up my alley.

They don’t care about how things age though. They want you to buy a new one when the plastic fades out. They want things to age poorly(relatively) so you buy a new one.

Was 2 hours a day to about 3 miles round trip! If I didn't have to take kids to daycare/school I could literally walk to work in less than 15 minutes. While I do miss driving my car so much, I really can't complain.

I went from separate sick/vacation days at my old job to combined PTO and it sucks because it adds up to less time. But I save 2 hours of commute time and I like the job better so I'll live.
