Why should we leave it up to "riders" or anyone for that matter. People are reckless and sometimes they need to be stopped. What if every rider that rode died? Would it still be OK because that was their choice?
Or maybe some people value the lives of others. Remember it’s not just the person that dies that is affected, but their family, friends and community. Sometimes it’s ok to protect people from themselves.
The pads also make it so you can hit harder without hurting yourself. You can hit a helluva lot harder with pads than you can without. That is why it is easier to just hit someone so they fall rather than to try to do a “form tackle” while wrapping up.

When you are in neutral, the fuel injectors need to keep spraying fuel to keep the engine turning over. When the transmission is still engaged, the movement of the wheels is still connected to the crankshaft and will keep the engine moving.
There is also an Explorer ST now too.....
