If his comprehension is that limited, then he needs to be under a conservatorship because he is unable to navigate society. Perhaps even some form of secure mental health confinement.

Are you missing the part where Israel abducted ~20,000 Palestinians and is holding them without due process, or the near a Palestinian a day they executed indiscriminately prior to the 7th? How about the long and documented history of torture, rape, mutilation by Israeli forces on Palestinians?

their own refusal to either GTFO or rebel against their evil terrorist government

Criticizing people distracted by the eclipse wasn’t really the point.  That whole bit was primarily a light sketch meant to transition from the topic of the eclipse over to the real meat of what Stewart wanted to discuss: criticizing the US response to Israel.

Ah, we’re at the “well, whattaya gonna do?” stage of trying to justify the genocide.

It’s so weird that a terrorist organization that claims to be fighting for the people against an apartheid nation who has kept them locked in an imposed third-world state for decades enjoys widespread support.

Israel could very easily defeat Hamas by building hospitals instead of bombing them, but then the “we’re

If nothing else, the parallel of these two wars is that Israel is the Russia, not the Ukraine.”

Sure buddy, if only Hamas released a few more hostages, Israel will dial back the genocide it has spent decades building up to.

Man, imagine how envious Heinrich Himmler would be of that system. All he had to use was IBM punch cards.

Hey, now: it could also mean that the trigger-happy IDF has shot/bombed the hostages already!

Lol genocide supporter

Funny thing is that if these producers ever decided to actually think of a new idea, there are plenty of people out there who could do a new show that would be great and simply be a retread of Hammond, May and the other one.

I know a lot of people are saying it was the hosts and theres no point in rebooting... which is partially true. But I think the bigger thing that is killing these shows is automotive youtube.

It used to be that Top Gear was the only place you could really go to see people doing something really fun with cars. Now there

The problem is trying to recreate the same show with different people. A car show does not have to be hosted by a trio of (less and less) middle-aged goofy guys. It always ends up feeling like an homage band.

That went great for Top Gear I heard

Stop, stop. It’s already dead.

The comment had nothing to do with the actual content of the report, and everything to do with Musk’s tone in his denial.

Incentivizing moving away from fossil fuels has a long-term net benefit not just to our society, but the entire world. I’d rather my tax dollars go towards paying for an EV than yet another bomb to shuffle rocks around in yet another middle east resource war.

We are just getting started on rebuilding our industrial capabilities.

Taxpayer money is used for individual benefit all the time, for a wide variety of reasons, and tax incentives are used all the time to encourage movement in directions the government would like to encourage, and have been for a very long time. Nothing new or unique about the EV credit.
