Funny thing is that if these producers ever decided to actually think of a new idea, there are plenty of people out there who could do a new show that would be great and simply be a retread of Hammond, May and the other one.

The problem is trying to recreate the same show with different people. A car show does not have to be hosted by a trio of (less and less) middle-aged goofy guys. It always ends up feeling like an homage band.

My wife bought a 2010 Fit when she was 53. We prematurely replaced it in 2016 with a new 3rd-Gen Fit and she is still driving it at 67. Now, one of our nieces is driving a 2017 Fit in the same “Passion berry pearl” purple color, at age 32.

Incentivizing moving away from fossil fuels has a long-term net benefit not just to our society, but the entire world. I’d rather my tax dollars go towards paying for an EV than yet another bomb to shuffle rocks around in yet another middle east resource war.

Taxpayer money is used for individual benefit all the time, for a wide variety of reasons, and tax incentives are used all the time to encourage movement in directions the government would like to encourage, and have been for a very long time. Nothing new or unique about the EV credit.

Well having The Mandarin show up in Iron Man 3 didn’t stop The Mandarin from showing up in Shang-Chi. Maybe it unnecessarily shuffles the characters’ backstories, but I don’t see how it eliminates a character outright.

...but it was my understanding that “chemtrails” are not at all the same thing as the cloud seeding.
