Yup, they should just go in 100% and make a full performance sub-brand of the Mustang

Places that get lots of snow have these magical things called “snow plows”. I lived in MAINE the first 47 years of my life, never once did I feel like I needed more than an ordinary car to get around in the winter, including being a ski bum all through college in the mountains of western Maine. Snow tires are the

“Luxury” half-ton, full-size, crew-cab, short-bed pickup trucks. They’re just large, upscale cars with impractical “trunks” and way-too-high step-in heights. Plus, their MPGs are the same as sedans that they’re allegedly replacing.

I agree with you to some extent, but also there’s plenty of people that rarely if ever drive adults (if anyone at all) in the back seat. For those people who like to have 4 doors just in case, that prius is fine. Not only does it look better, its also got a great tear drop shape at the expense of rear headroom.

All of my hatred is rational.

And Aston V8 Vantage vibes

It literally says on the label “Protect your lawn and garden.” My wife buys hot pepper in bulk (admittedly, for cheaper, from an Indian supermarket) to keep squirrels from digging up all her potted seedlings, and cats just out of the yard, generally. It doesn’t actually have any effect on birds, because they lack

This is only slightly less stupid than the idiots who think New Mexico isn’t a state.

Restaurants use those bulk spices. Amazon often has them cheaper than the usual suspects. I owned a restaurant for 10 years, and we made our own mustard. Amazon was by far the best deal on mustard seeds. Jugs of cayenne like that would last me about a month.

While I like driving I wish we had public transit so we didn't have to use them to commute or just live. It's a big expense.

I don’t understand why automakers pivoted so hard away from parallel hybrids.  My 2018 Chevy Volt is fantastic.  I run almost exclusively on battery (I fill my tank around 2x a year) but have zero range anxiety.  Seems like this is how things should be done until we have those 10-minute-to-charge Toyota batteries.

Not true, I can’t afford to buy an electric car. Or any car atm, tbh.

I’d buy a new plug in hybrid, which would be run all electric 99% of the time back and forth from work, but I wouldn’t buy all electric. I also wouldn’t buy a used hybrid or electric with those $10k+ batteries that will need to be replaced sooner or later.

Nice bait headline.

Bullshit. I’d love to buy an EV but I have a running daily and make little money. HELLO.

Yeah - I’d rather spend my $60k on a used LC500 hybrid, than a new electric.

The problem with nearly every car mentioned here is the price.

I think there are more factors at play, like interest rates. The average interest rate on a car loan is around 7%, which is a lot.

on a car that’s worth 20 000$, it might not be that huge of a deal but on a car that is worth 60-70 000$, that’s another story. Also, I do not see a lot of advertising for electric cars. At
