I remember watching this in theaters. I was hungover and got motion sickness. I had to puke mid watch. 10/10 would watch again.

The cinematography was the best part of the movie - digital cinematography in 2013 tended to be either washed-out or mimicking film, but Spring Breakers was full of oversaturated purple and pink, along with those vivid textures.
A lot of people hated this movie, but I loved it.
It was like a fever dream or a mushroom trip, where you come out of it with a headache and you’re not entirely sure what happened to the last few hours.
They should’ve gotten Korine to direct the adaptation of “On The Road” - this hallucinatory style would’ve been far…
Spring Breakers came out long after I had already graduated and shortly after I ended my “every weekend is a non-stop party” phase. I viewed it as a pretty good encapsulation of the feeling that existed then - that all of that stupid MTV stuff was so goddamn fun and so important at the time but in retrospect is pretty…
Great article on a wildly good movie
Those Rivian vans would make for a sweet camper. They need to figure out a way to jump into that segment while it's still burning hot.
95% of the EV reporting on jalopnik is pro-EV, but it sounds like you’re only going to be happy if the reporting is 100% pro-EV.
As if everyone who gets into college is a genius. Heck, plenty of morons actually graduate.
The movie looked awful.
The movie looked fine. Even the screen grab above that’s constantly been shit on since the trailer came out didn’t look near as bad in the theaters for all the shit it got on the internet the last couple of months. People just need to stop being jaded assholes all the time and enjoy things
I would gladly help out a GoFundMe if they needed money to buy some lightbulbs to help brighten some scenes. Maybe they can wait a minute for the dust to settle and film the actors when there is actual light shining on them? I’m not in the field so I wouldn’t know :/
Most of the movie seemed like it was just a CW show set with more money for the bluescreen VFX, so this would explain everything.
It’s great to see 2 execs actually resigning over this. Had this been in America they would have stayed on, collected a huge bonus, and prepared to bravely layoff 15% of the workers.
Been a fan of Grand Crew from the get-go. Nicole Byer is great, as usual, and Carl Tart bring his Comedy Bang Bang absurdity
My Stinger GT2 insures just like a family sedan with State Farm. And my rates drop a little every 6 months.
Warranty is 10 year 100 K miles
CVTs have been fine for years. People just keep complaining about them like they are the first gen Nissan’s paired with their V6 (which those did grenade very early). A few other first gens were generally less reliable, but most commuter sedans/CUVs have been using a CVT as the norm for over a decade and cars are…
I thought the KIA cvts were fine?
My vote goes to the Honda Fit.
Also, rent a minivan or SUV to bring the kid+stuff to college. Why put a one-time use case requirement on a daily driver?
