You know anyone can see that you star your own comments right?

Who cares? It’s not a franchise or a remake, that was my point.
David Hyde Pierce being played by James Urbaniak in old age makeup
I really want him and Christopher Nolan to do weird one-off Bonds with different actors in the role before we get back to someone in the role long-term. Hawley could do retro camp, Nolan could do slick, heady end of the world shit, then they cast the next guy and an up-and-coming director to set the tone for the next…
Bring back Justin Lin and don’t let JJ anywhere near anything but the checkbook.
Bad musicals are lame and annoying but everyone loves at least one musical
There are quite a few original movies in theaters right now besides those two remakes. Book of Clarence, Boys in the Boats, Night Swim, Poor Things, Iron Claw, Ferrari. For as many years as we’ve been drowning in rehashed schlock, you really gotta put the blinders on to claim that we’re in a significant “Hollywood ran…
The semantics and nuance don’t really matter to my point, common knowledge is that it’s a communist country, even if the structure doesn’t exactly bear out that way. But it’s also similar to how the US is a democratic nation but the actual system is a representative republic. The propaganda doesn’t care about nuance…
Considering the situation they’re in, in regards to the constriction placed upon them by a powerful neighbor, they are an incredible success. Fidel survived numerous assassination attempts and died of old age, and they’ve outlasted the USSR by decades. If the US gave up their petty embargo, they’d go from surviving to…
8k resolution I get. OLED panels, sure. Hell even 3D TVs made some kind of sense as a gimmick. I have no idea why I’d want a transparent TV though.
James Wan is becoming a figure I’ll just trust without much other info going in, everything I’ve seen from him, directing or producing, has been at least a fun time at the movies, if not an absolute blast.
I’ll happily take one off their hands for them
Pop culture. There was a popular documentary and a feature film about her. No one forced you to click on it if you’re not interested.
It doesn’t quite come together for the highs of Paddington 2 but it definitely has the same vibes and magic
No, actually there was only one wrong, and then the completely predictable and reasonable fallout from that single wrong, and that was escalated by a shitbag cop. If you had a stranger plow through your house, they jump out and yell at you and you push them back with no injury to them, do you really think the cops…
I’m giving examples of hazards, obviously there’s not a way to communicate the exact nature when you’re passing by going the other way. But congrats, you learned something today. If someone flashes their lights at you, be alert for hazards and check your lights if it’s dark or raining.
I’ve seen people turn their lights on in response to me flashing my lights, so plenty of people understand that. And hazards are all over the place, what are you even asking? Windy back roads, maybe someone is walking on the shoulder but potentially out of view of an oncoming car, a stopped delivery truck with no room…
I found myself doing that without even thinking about it, my wife is pretty timid about using the horn and when there was a semi drifting into our lane while we were next to them I reached over and honked as a pure impulse. She wasn’t happy about it and I felt bad, but I wasn’t aware that reflex transferred to the…
Nah it’s more sociopathic to not flash lights, that’s the best way to signal to people going the other direction that there’s a hazard ahead, or to tell someone their lights are off when they should be on.
I’ll let Tom know, he’s going to be really disappointed
