They could’ve just made it a limited production, 200-2000 or whatever, jacked the price way up to catch the rubes with deep pockets, and they’d have completely avoided this very avoidable snafu.

Obviously a lot of people know how a toilet works, but that doesn’t mean that everyone knows how a toilet works, and it makes sense for a self-absorbed washed-up TV actor to not know. He’s lived in this swanky apartment for decades, if something goes wrong he just calls building maintenance.
Getting blue check vibes from this comment
What am I looking up? The Nazis demonized Marxism as part of their propaganda and put communists in camps, who are you talking about?

Hey you can just throw this anecdote away
It’s already been covered that this article is silly and unnecessary, but I just wanna put in my two cents about the first sentence. The definitive line between Gen Z and Millennials is whether you remember 9/11. Gen Z still has had a pretty bleak era to live through, but watching a live broadcast snuff film in your sc…

I wanna see the cost analysis for producing headliners at those specs
It would genuinely require at least tripling production costs on the supplier’s end to even approach those tolerances. Automotive suppliers aren’t equipped to meet these specifications outside of the stuff that actually makes the car move.
0.09 mm is 90 microns but even then it’s overkill for body panels. I work for a company that makes fuel injectors and even for those the baseline tolerance for tiny machined parts are around 100 microns, and critical functions ranging from 50 to 5 microns. Sub-10 micron tolerances are on parts or features that are…
I literally have a mortgage, y’all are old
Believe it or not but that has made a bigger cultural impact than a mustard commercial
