I don’t know what your definition of “functional” is, but for me it means that those upgrades will need to be on every public road.

It wouldn’t completely solve the issue, but improving infrastructure with information accessible by FSD software would go a long way to standardize things enough for a functional system. I don’t think it’s the most pressing transit investment the US needs, but FSD won’t be effectively solved without updating roads and…
