Yup. Those blasts running out 2nd and 3rd were easily some of my favorite moments. The VTEC change in the H22 really seemed to me to be some of the most aggressive from that era of Honda.
I have an E46 M3 (manual) and an E46 wagon for a daily driver. No where else to put another car sadly. But I’m happy. I’d like to drive one again though for a little bit to see if it is just nostalgia.
I had a ‘98. Non SH. Maybe it’s the nostalgia. Maybe it’s that I lost it too soon to an idiot making an illegal u-turn. Maybe it’s that I got an MkIV GTi 1.8T that handled less than great after. Nope. Best practice is get in, start car, drive off and keep RPM low until it’s warm. Car warms up faster. Engine, transmission, diff warm up at the same time.
See I always read and say the X as a letter. Ekis. Silent X at the end of a word makes no sense to me.
If you say it in Spanish it sounds pretty stupid.
A/S/L?
When it looks impressive on TV maybe I’ll consider watching. It’s just looks sooooo slow. No high speed corners. 90 left. 90 right.
