Hmm...

Wake me up when the diesel arrives.

Yeah, I'm not sure what that means...

It's vile.

Spectators? Spotters/camera guys. It was a road open to public use, hence the "South of the border" reference at the end. Guy is a douche.

1978 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce. My family had one when I was young. I cried when it was sold. Fun little engine. Made a nice noise. Seemed to just hop down the road, but in a good way.

Not even once. Polled some friends. Same answer.

Well, isn't it feasible that since Texas is as far from me as Texas is wide plus the width of a more normal sized state I will have A: never heard of a Whataburger and B: am unlikely to ever see a Whataburger?

Are you from Texas? Because I'm not.

Never heard of it. Likely to never see one.

Now playing

Could have chosen a better video for the straight 6 BMW's.

Good old Tesla up to their usual lines of BS...

Cute, he has a fire suit too.  Might need it.

Hallo Bruce!

It's an amusing subject. Back when I was in the online dating wasteland, seeing how many rather short women have the requirement that the guy that contacts them be well over 6'. Really, just amusing. I always thought, "so, even if you wear 6, 7, 8, inch heels, I'm still taller at my "lowly" 5'9". Hmmm...".

I have never had an issue on the PA turnpike. Me and a friend, each in separate cars, both M3's, early in the morning drove from the onramp north of Exton to Middletown (basically just south of Harrisburg) in 35 minutes. It was an exciting time.

Passat or maybe an A6.

Anywhere in Virginia.

Numbers 10, 2 and 1 are really all you need. Included in "practice" should be brake tests. In a parking lot or an empty road try some emergency brake tests at low'ish speed. Get to know what ABS feels like if you have it or how quickly the wheels lock up if you don't and how the car reacts.

I'll be watching it late. No way will I suffer through the Speed or Fox coverage.
