Give me the keys or I call the cops.

That actually happened to my cousin and her husband.....went to Jay Stevens to look at a car. They didn’t have much money or credit....but while they were test driving the car, they sold or took their vehicle and sold it to auction. All their stuff still inside.

I agree 100% but it doesn’t even matter why....you own it, and if you don’t want your car fondled, it shouldn’t be fondled. If I want to restore a mint, rare Porsche I own and then burn it to the ground without ever letting a soul drive it or touch it, I can...it’s mine.  Nobody is entitled to shit.

Cars are not precious. Nothing is precious.”

I mean, I guess if there’s Rolos in there...shit’s getting real.

Maybe so...still beside the point

Don’t touch my car without permission. You can wax poetic all day about why I’m wrong and why you believe you should be allowed to paw at my vehicle, but I don’t care.....I bought it with my own money, I own it, it’s my property and therefore err on the side of “don’t touch people’s stuff without permission.”.

I’m baffled that people have to be told or let be known that their touching other people’s property is a no-no. You don’t generally touch anything that isn’t yours without permission...somebody’s stuff on their desk at work, stuff in people’s homes....and for fuck’s sake their cars.  People are either way too

If I see someone sitting in my car or attempting to open the door I’m going to assume they are trying to steal it and will act accordingly.

Towards the guy’s face....

The car show stance. Feet together, about a foot away from the vehicle, arms behind back and leaned forward at the waist to look.

Should have just cut the leash and let the dog go.

Evidently people feel entitled to touch your car because you had the nerve to bring it to a car show in the first place.

Love the KMFDM lyrics! I feel like there’d been a resurgence of car enthusiasm around the time of Gran Turismo forward....it may not be the hot rodding culture of the 50's and 60's, but it was pretty big for a while....they made movies about car culture, brought back muscle cars and started a new horsepower war. I

Cars, car culture, racing....all of these things are dying out.”

I get your strawman...but when the cars are modified to the point they become a potential hazard to other drivers, it’s a little a little beyond “people have different tastes.”

I pointed out the 1st gen DSM blow off valves (even had the DSM star stamped on them) on a guy’s stock GTR once and he was not amused.

I’ve always wanted one of these.....but I’ve had my fair share of anxiety inducing “fun” cars that could leave you stranded at any moment...this one seems like that except worth 10 times more than anything I’ve owned. I know it’s cliche as hell, but one with a high revving aluminum 4.8L LS would be perfect...

Crush bent exhaust too tiny to do anything “performance”...no intercooler. How hard is it to add a stock SVT or TC intercooler? The interior makes it look like the car is going to storm the local drag strip....yet it’ll probably run a 17 if it’s lucky. I don’t get it. Aftermarket cam gear, shit exhaust, no

Those engines made pretty decent torque for the time....generally more tq than HP
