The cars just rust into the ground around the engine. I’ve seen so many derelict jbody cars with horrifying rust holes still plugging away.

I do that too....I think it has to do with my fare share of experiences with scalding hot oil and coolant and exhaust parts in my life.

I never have! ‘89 Sundance turbo 2.5L...20+ PSI modded to 300 whp....lost the water pump belt at 115mph and had 2 miles to the next exit....drove it the whole way. Pulled into a gas station with coolant bubbling out of the rad and the car dying from no alternator.....slapped a new belt on and drove it two more years

Good on you.....although I lean more 1st gen turbo.

Now if we can just have it deduct money from my bank account for car payments and overpriced mods....it’ll be just like the real thing!
