Damn reddit works fast
Replaced a rear brake line, shoes and drum on my ‘89 turbo Sundance. The line was so rusty that I had to cut it off down by the gas tank and graft in a new one....everything went pretty smooth otherwise. Take the car for a spin and there’s a howling noise from the rear pass side wheel. I figured I’d messed up the…
That car is at the Studebaker museum in South Bend Indiana. I saw it a couple months ago. The setup for the stunt man to drive the thing from the rear is sketchy as hell.
I dunno....I like it...and considering what it’s pimarily gonna be used for, I can’t rag on it.
Those seats are delicious
Bought a 2001 Neon R/T in excellent condition from a guy off CL. Been looking for a second gen R/T or ACR for reliable fun commuter duty and possible weekend autocrosser. Car was pretty rust free, ran well enough but the tires were shot, so I just replaced them that day with a set of Fiero wheels and newish 225/50…
AAA saved my ass sooooooo much last year.....I got the cheapest plan and exhausted all my times I could call for the year, but man...so worth it.
CP just because I can get a turbo, 5 speed model for under 3 grand in Indianapolis.....more go and less dorky “show”.
I got in it a little to pass a car so I could get off my exit...no drastic acceleration or anything and I had plenty of time...just pretty much a normal lane change.....some dude in an accord buzzed by at WOT and then threw on his flashers....I didn’t even know that was still a thing?
Am I on Reddit?
I have to think that guy was trolling.
Miami Nights 1984 and Kavinski.
You kinda resemble young, megachin-less Jay Leno in some kind of bizarre way.
monorail monorail monorail....
I dunno...that could be a fun car. Take an ‘88 Daytona T2 intake manifold and turbo, low key, black painted intercooler, 40% bigger injectors, Walbro 255 pump, custom EPROM, 3 Bar map sensor, hack off the exhaust at the downpipe, 22-25 pounds of boost and a set of factory 15" “crab” wheels with drag radials and…
It took me a bit of growing up to ditch the want of insane power in favor of driving dynamics and engine noise.
LSX with two massive turbos poking out the back and some ridiculous air ducting feeding them. Massive exhausts coming off the turbos pointing straight up. Super wide steelies in the front and dualie wheels with the back jacked up, leave the body as is....gun holsters everywhere, knives, a couple of big gas tanks…
I don’t know about all that, however I do know that turbocharged cars tend to eat platinum plugs...they can’t take the cylinder pressures I guess. Copper for boost!
