Yeah, he ain’t wrong. Like, most everything CW put out was schlock, but it was fun schlock, and sometimes they had a genuine gem (well, at least until they inevitably ran it way too long and things got weird and/or bad... and sometimes even that was fun to see how wild things could get). And as cable dies its slow…

This is a truly unique horror franchise. Thoughtful, character-centered, and tense without excess or trying to one-up the previous entries. The whiteboard for stories is wide open, and to get a different director’s vision could keep these going for a long time - like an anthology in movie form instead of episodic form.

It’s heartening to see occasional commenters not just how good Open Range is. It really is terrific, the requisite big gunfight is fantastic, and it’s full of detail you don’t often see.

If you’d like to have a reasonable conversation about the issue, I’ve been living with these sorts of questions for decades now so I think I can at least keep the discussion interesting. That’s if you can handle a talking puppy.

I, for one, would prefer a sound loss all around. Some sort of incalculable, humiliating landslide. Sadly, I think your outcome is more likely. 

I’m still holding out hope that Trump wins the popular vote but loses the electoral college. Of all the plausible outcomes, it’s the funniest AND arguably the stupidest, so I kinda feel like the universe owes it to us.

I made a joke that there should be a Bob’s Burgers episode where Jimmy Pesto thinks Bob is grinding up kids in his basement for burgers and then I remembered that’s almost literally the pilot.
