The modern hip hop comment was more to indicate that I don’t listen to a lot of Drake’s or Kendrick’s music. It had nothing to do with thinking rap beefs were new.

Kesha’s music is somehow even worse. Playing “Your Love is my Drug” to anyone with functioning ears constitutes torture.

Honestly a pretty funny bit that she fired the rapist for the one album where she pretended to be a feminist then immediately brought him back.

Yes, and I always figured it was some sort of normal rebellion against what I understand to have been a fundie Christian upbringing, but it turns out she just wanted the fun parts of the rebellion like sex and cleavage, and not the hard parts like questioning of a patriarchal society and rejection of rape culture.

That is SO weird because I was just sitting here at my desk feeling like a plastic bag! 

The tackiness covers up that she’s as flat as a pancake when she sings live.

I’ll fully admit, I’m a white guy and not a huge fan of modern hip-hop. I think it’s great that music people like is coming out of this, and I absolutely don’t want to see anybody getting killed over this or anything. It’s just the viciousness of some this stuff bothers me.

Perry can work with any producer she wants to. That isn’t even the problem: her lack of any discernible talent, however, is an issue.

Sounds like this all isn’t for you.  Which is fine.  Not everything is for everyone. But this shit is cool and fun rap.  It’s a good thing both these dudes are in their late 30's; there’s no chance this goes further than diss records.  Rap needs this.  Rap doesn’t need more young rappers getting killed over beef.

Kendrick had Kodak Black all over his last album, I mean, I don’t support Dre’s involvement but can people really pretend to be surprised?  He’s the greatest rapper alive not the greatest person alive.

Saw someone online refer to Kendrick as “Petty Pendergrass.”
