Your read is correct. She def was trying to get her own bit of “power” by getting up to speak. She wasn’t even “supposed” to speak to begin with, but after Roman shit the bed, there was massive damage control. Ken’s speech was good, and she needed to show she can also be “good” in the big moments, etc.
