MING!
MING!
sigh
It is a damn fine movie, but of course Cher's performance was helped along by great performances from Vincent Gardenia and Olympia Dukakis. All in all, my favorite rainy day movie.
Just what I am calling amber verse's alt verse. Because typing out amber verse alt verse sucks and I am lazy.
I think you touched on the profound thing that I was trying to elucidate (but failing) in my post above.
My reaction to season 4 is interesting to me. I love this show, and watched since the beginning. Yet I haven't really made any internal bets on how this season might play out - a Peter-return-to-blue/red-universes, a Peter-stay-amber/green - so I think I have also been less bothered by what seems to be many viewers…
in the cordials section usually. bottom shelf underneath the creme de menthe and blueberry schnaps.
Bonnie as the Ultimate Ass Pull trope. You are right. And it does make her so boring. You're also right about Caroline - she was just sort of … a perky blond version of best-friend there-ness … until she became a vampire, and something about her inherent perkiness combined with the vampire nature made Caroline a very…
I agree that Dekker can be better (he was good in Sarah Connor Chron, and I really liked him in Kaboom), and that it seems to be some combination of horrible direction and awful writing that makes him appear so stilted.
yeah. reading the rest of the comments, it is pretty clear that we all were happy wavy arming.
oh. and yes, THIS
I said that to myself a lot during this episode.
Bonnie wonnie smonnie. Dumb boring storyline. Poor sad boring Bonnie, whose mom is even boring. Why did they let Jasmine Guy die? She was the only interesting present day Bennett. However,
For real. But Duffy has been - has not been really THE big bad, and he serves such an interesting and productive ancillary role, that it has seemed prudent to keep him around for info dumps, extra pressure on Raylan, etc. His time would have probably been up had he moved to a more central Big Bad role.
Ha! You're right. Titties, tennis. Sorta almost the same.
General badassery from Wynn Duffy:
It's a damn fine name. That fella's got to be living, just so we can have more of him.
yah, I thought the same about the shooter.
Southland and The Shield were never on at the same time.
Agreeing with everyone except the Hollywood Foreign Press here: Boss is a godawful show, and Grammer is a scene chewing yuck monster. (all technical critical terms, I must say)
