Honestly, that's an incredibly interesting perspective.

I disagree. The game itself is very overrated. Considering the part when Cloud breaks down and cries in the game, I think this is an accurate representation of the game. I would say Valkryia Chronicles for me. It wasn't a commercial success, but the game-play and story was on point pretty much from the beginning.
