A lot of RPG's have this problem. Maybe the 1st time it's fine to deal with, but when you come back a year or 2 later to start a new file, you forget about the tedious beginning with the tutorials and typically slow dialogue.

Is there any word if the beta will carry over to retail? Either way, the alpha was fantastic. Had so much fun playing with my brother and friends in squads.
Meanwhile, I'm still wishing they'd bring Valkyrie Profile or Star Ocean 2 to the PSN as classics =(
As a huge monster hunter fan since the PS2 release, I can tell you that the demo was hands down for people that were already going to buy it. I tried to recommend it to a few friends, and they had absolutely no idea what was going on in the demo. Was an odd approach from Capcom.
The interesting debate is some people agree with you in that the combat is stiff and clunky. The other side is how I feel, the unique style of combat in MH is what it makes it so great (have at least 400 hours on my 3DS/Wii-U file). You can't just swing wildly or mash or anything like that.
You mean you don't appreciate the animality scene at the end that looks like a 4 year old went crazy with crayons?
I've enjoyed the Kingdom Hearts games but I really wish the story wasn't so convoluted and bloated. Any time someone asks me to explain the story up to KHIII, I can honestly say I don't understand it 100% nor do I have the energy to even attempt it.
Really happy you are doing Star Ocean 2! Glad I posted it in my suggestions some weeks ago =)
Although they did confirm it's coming to the west, has there been any release date mentioned yet?
I'd really love to see Nintendo steal the show with some amazing 1st party titles alongside some surprise 3rd party games, such as(not gonna happen) a Resident Evil 2 remake akin to the 1st one.
Good ol' Kingdom of Baron *tear drop*. This sounds like a great idea! I would suggest adding Star Ocean 2, Valkyrie Profile and Earthbound to your list =) I'd also say Final Fantasy Tactics (my favorite) but not sure if that lumps into the category you are focusing on.
I really wish I could hook up my 3DS to the tv sometimes.
I got a friend to buy a Wii-U solely on them coming over my house and watching me turn on the TV, change the input, and start the console all on the controller.
Word on the street is, you've got a new Nintendo 64 game coming out
Have really enjoyed my Wii-U. Put over 300 hours into Monster Hunter. It's nice to chill anywhere in the house and play some virtual console games (megaman X, earthbound, warioware) with the controller. Really looking forward to X, Mario Kart 8 and Smash.
Ah, water, nectar of the gods. Now Graham can roam freely through the arid desert.
Betting the farm that Thanos is back in the shadows. All these movies giving tiny hints at the Infinity Gauntlet
Awesome poster including King's Quest. Man I loved those games (I-VI)
