If Donald Trump were not president, Heather would be alive. Full stop.

My partner once joked about removing the last chapter of a book I was hooked on (because I was ignoring him to read). I looked up, looked him dead in the eye, and said nothing. Stared for 30 seconds then went back to reading.

He should die. It sounds like he did it to more than one book. People who tear up books are not to be trusted in any circumstances. Kill it, kill it with fire.

Oh my god. The person who rips my book would have his balls fed to him through his nostrils. BOOKS ARE FRIENDS. RESPECT BOOKS, DAMMIT. Even my six and three year olds learned this lesson early.

When I encounter such people, I get an overpowering urge to reply, “I’m a puncher!” Hey, if one form of unwanted physical contact is OK, why not another?

Think about what Leo Ryan and his staff did — they put their personal safety in jeopardy to travel to the jungle of a third world country to address the concerns of their constituents. What politician would do that today? And don’t forget the members of the media who were killed on the tarmac, including photographer

This story blows holes through the position the NRA takes after every such incident. (Dana Loesch’s tirade on mental health in 3, 2, 1...)

Colell never filed charges because she says, she was told by the school to “to accept an apology to not ruin his future in the Marine Corps.”

The best response I’ve ever read to “Look, my parents spanked me and I turned out fine!” is “No, you didn’t. You think it is okay to hit little kids.”

My dad used to be his paperboy. He always said Rogers was exactly as great in real life as he was on TV. He would come out and chat when he could, talked my dad through his first heartbreak, tipped really well... Just an all around amazing guy, apparently.

If they leave, they can’t document the racist orange santorum-covered enemy of the people. If they don’t leave, it seems to lend credence to the Frothy One.

Enough of this fucking shit.

My former best friend for most of my life became “former” after being told, repeatedly, to stop hugging my wife with what she calls “the boob hug.”

It’s not even just the grope, or the non apology. It’s the fact that he made this moment all about him. Grande had just performed a tribute, that timeless track about feeling like a natural woman, at a funeral for the woman who wrote it and this man took 40 seconds to:

- Pull her into him like they had intimacy from

I’m happy that you reached that place. It would be my default, too - today. I’m 38. As with many, #MeToo brought back a lot of “WTF?!” memories. For example, when I was sixteen, my high school class went to see a play. During intermission, one of the girls told the (female) teacher that the man next to her (in his

And in Aretha’s life, she famously told critics that she would wear whatever she wanted, and didn’t give a shit if they thought it was appropriate. It seems fitting for performers at her funeral to celebrate her attitude.

Watching that clip lastnight made me ENRAGED. All women have been there. We've all experienced groping in a public place. We've all tried to ignore it because we didn't want to be "that woman" who called out the dude in front of everybody, ruining the vibe. We have all been there. He's a piece of shit.

Exactly. It´s incredibly clear, especially when you hear their disdain for all of the women (and I’m not even really talking about celebrities, but all of the millions of normal, everyday women who spoke up and shared their own metoo stories on social media) who spoke up about their own sexual assault and harassment
