Tryout? Yeah that's not going to happen for a one-night-only performance. I don't anyone should be expecting these live musicals as a replacement for actual theater, they're just fun and entertaining and will hopefully convince people to go out and see a show.

Hairspray is one of the catchiest musicals ever

I'm glad NBC decided to renew it. I was kinda meh about it in the beginning but it improved a lot in the second half. Excited to see where it goes!
