Depends on the time of day and how much exploring you do, but there are an absurd number of Pokemon in the starting area. If you’ve only seen 8 then you are not really exploring to maximum effect. Especially in the event of Time Space distortion points.

Real back handed comment on the joycons.  The only set ive had experience drift were the day 1 console release ones.   The two sets ive purchased since then not including the two additional switches I have purchased, have experienced no drift whatsoever.
