I welcome games that embrace the fantasy setting and don’t add a sex to a race that is either entirely same-sex or one where the male or female member of the species is so rare that you would never encounter them to any great degree.

I am really going to need a demo to understand why I would want to play this game. I loved the MG series, but I am not really willing to invest in it just out of the blind hype that people are willing to give the game due to Kojima being quirky. 

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but soldiers get plenty of off-time, even when on tours of duty, in which they can play video games or just dick around on the internet. It isn’t some black hole they get shot into for X amount of years.

You have to look at inflation. $60 25 years ago was the equivalent of about 100$ in pay compensation given todays standards.

It is not hard to just launch a generic attack, so hopefully these are kids that think they are being clever, rather than people that enjoyed the original game and have decided to be Tuff Bois at this point.

Most of these games are unplayable due to the general Advance in Quality of Life improvements in games (even down to the use of a Easy Access button versus PRESS START FOR ALL THINGS)

Yeah, I recall the Emotion Engine tech demo as well. These things are literally always What The Engine Will be Capable of Doing,  and very much not What the Engine Can Do.

The rights to the Muppet Show are, unfortunately, very obscure due to all the guest stars and music performances. The previous Muppet Show home releases didnt do well enough to justify the fight to get the remaining series out out, so its unlikely Disney would bother unless this new show does well.

I mean, sure, it has awful ridiculous writing for the main character and even the gameplay breaks down in the whole end area after you rescue Hugo. But the rats can 1 shot you, so I guess that is scary.

WoW Classic. Do you think the “popularity” is a fad due to it being released soon or do you think it will be a Renaissance for absurdly convoluted games?

Considering the VERY clear fact that the movie was a One Hit Wonder, it doesn’t really shock me that there IS a game. Game studios will happily whore out anything they can. I am just shocked that it took so long to create a game that - twenty years after the movie - will be a guaranteed flop.

I can’t believe how this small change makes me want to buy this game very badly.
