Look at me here stanning for Taylor Swift but here I go.

I live near RI (not far from her home here) and she donates money and visits the hospitals (Hasbro especially) a lot, and has been for years. It’s never publicized. The only reason I know about it is because a friend’s son was in and out of hasbro for a few years and would see her occasionally.
What part of “he served his time” “move on” do you not understand? He’s not complaining that there are protests, he’s complaining that people are complaining about a rapist getting three months in jail. If you don’t believe me, read his other comments, he is a sexist, he mocked an article as being “written by a woman”…
Rehabilitation requires a recognition that something is wrong in the first place, so that was never going to be an option in this situation. Maybe learning that the public at large isn’t actually on his side will be a helpful first step?
“Leave this guy alone” is stronger than opposing armed vigilantism. Brock Turner doesn’t deserve to be “left alone”; he deserves to be told that he’s a criminal and a bad person. Waving guns in front of his house isn’t a great way of doing that, and pointing that out isn’t rape apologia, but “just move on” absolutely…
OP isn’t saying that they are uncomfortable with armed protests. You’re inserting words into her post and Persnickety’s in order to scold Persnickety.
If you are truly a victim, you need help. In every post, you bend over backward trying to exonerate perpetrators, minimize rape, and say that due to our culture, it’s inevitable. You definitely come off as a perpetrator trying to justify their past/present, not a rape survivor.
You’re seriously mad at people for assuming a rapist and the people who defend him are assholes? Shame on you. The only one perpetuating rape culture here is you.
You need to just shut the hell up.
Hold on a sec, fucko. Are SERIOUSLY suggesting that men and boys need to be taught “sexual ethics,” otherwise they won’t know what to do with their desires/penises/urges?
Oh, sweetie. Go back to bed. The grownups are talking.
I wrote a long response and deleted it. Bottom line for me: you think we’re being too hard on rapists and treating them like monsters. The point is that they are monsters. When they rape, they’re monsters. They’re normal the rest of the time, but that doesn’t make it better. It makes it worse, because you can’t trust…
Oh, hai, Brick’s dad! HappyLabor Day!
Hello. Just wanted to say that your argument might be more persuasive if you learned to use paragraph breaks. Actually, no, I think your argument is utterly without merit.
You're a terrible person. Please stop.
You think that acquaintance rape is considered “normal” by your average guy? Can you give me an example of a scenario in which the average guy would consider normal but is in fact rape?
Whether or not you are a victim of rape, you sure as hell don’t speak for all of them.
Article posted at 7:15 pm eastern time, it took the first rape apologist “he served his time” “leave poor Brocky alone” 53 minutes to post. What took you so long?
Thanks. I actually thought he was being sarcastic at first, because what.........................
Feel free to dismiss the rape apologist if you’d like!
