@robotecm: I check www.freeappalert.com daily for apps that were paid and are now free (temporarily or longer term)

@Wowzur: I imagined it like one of those collapsible cups you see in camping supply shops. As the sea level rises, it drags the outer ring up, exposing more of the inner surface. Meaning the bottom of the city is anchored to the sea floor, or at least weighted.

@Snow leopard: Keep in mind, this is a country that memorialized a Prime Minister, allegedly swept out to sea from a beach, by naming a public swimming pool after him.

Looks like the FIFA logo just hit him in the groin.

All this time and no "Hello Sweetie"?

Bay Area people aren't terribly star struck folks. Celebs can walk around without being mobbed.

Since the Levi Strauss company sold goods to stores catering to prospectors during the San Francisco Gold Rush, the choice of song where the jeans are "coming home" to San Francisco might have another meaning (even though the jeans weren't made until after the gold rush).

How about the Sharks top line? They played well in both the regular season and Olympics.

Won't somebody please think of the goalkeepers?

Those 3M hooks (or anything similar) are also useful for hanging your keys near the front door so you see them as you leave.

@Feyhra: I enjoyed how happy she was with her elevator cover version of "Never Gonna Give You Up"

Go my favorite sports team, go! Beat the opponents soundly, in the skirmish! ... They scored a goal unit ...basket?!

They will eventually learn to use each others bodies as a bridge, so make that line thick.

@Hamslicer: but then the pilot for Grey's Anatomy would have made no sense!

@Machadaynu: or buy the Amazon deal and return that unopened to the store with store receipt.

Do apps like these depend on cellular reception (Assisted-GPS)? I often go out on oceanic cruises, where there would be less light pollution. Would this app work well?

Would it be unfair to play tennis while wearing it?

@NicolasCage: I recently found them in Target, distributed by Pepperidge Farms. Previously, I found them in Cost Plus World Markets, under the name "Arnott's Biscuits".

I like Costco, but here is some advice I got from a Costco Photo Center worker (it may also apply to other stores): print photos on Monday or soon after, as that is often the day they replace the chemicals (heaviest load is usually on weekends).
