In the third paragraph, you refer to Ezra Miller as “him.”

We’reall tired of reading Ezra Miller stories.  So here's a recap with nothing that hasn't been reported on this site before.

...Volunteer Proofreader? I never would have guessed your day job.

It’s as if Ezra Miller looked at the long arc of Johnny Depp’s career and said “I can do that, but twice as crazy and in a third of the time!”

Not sure this will impact GTA6 as much as it impacted HL2. The biggest problem caused by the leak of HL2 was the leak of the Source engine source code. Licensing an engine that has had its source code leaked is a tough sell. I assume GTA6 is using the same engine as GTA5 and Rockstar has no interest in licensing it. I

Right? Besides the security aspect of this and the potential for the leaker having more than just a running build this says so much more about the audience than the game. Even the “maybe this is fake” angle is so bizarre, considering how hard and pointless it would be to accurately depict all the work in progress

This is why companies do CG trailers. Too many people expect finished and polished products when they first see them, and it’s just safer to show CG until the game is basically finished.

If the source code is in the wild I expect years of delay. I sincerely hope this person does not have the entire source code. It’s 2003's Half-Life 2 leak all over again. This is a big L for fans who wanted to play the game anytime in the next couple of years.

This is just not good, as intriguing as it is, this is not

Pretty wild stuff. The most surprising thing to me has been just how fucking tenuous a grasp the general gaming public has on the process of making games. I mean my expectations were low, but damn.

This seems like a weird reversal gripe coming out of the infamous Samuel L. Jackson comment. He actually said he was upset that Black British actors got parts in Star Wars (John Boyega etc.) that in his view should’ve gone to Black American actors instead. Because - well, clearly because that galaxy far away should be

The jokes in these articles drive me nuts. As well as making these articles about Marvel or blockbuster cinema no matter what's out. Find other joke please.

I can genuinely say Kotaku’s writers over the past decade have been singularly the most amazing games journalists

I expect the single player won’t really be separate from the multiplayer. They’ll probably just be missions you can do solo if you want.

Until I see the end product, I’m assuming single player content will essentially be the GTA online tutorial.

The GTA games stories usually follow with an idea and take on the current socioeconomical and political landscape, and things have changed a lot since GTA5's release - which is why I imagine why we have a poc female protagonist now. I admit, things will be interesting when it comes to comedy.

I’m surprised they’re still having a single player mode at all, after having absolutely zero additional content for the single player in GTA5 after 9 years

I never wrote anything on Mike’s tribute because I felt anything would be inadequate; the best comment was that his writing and enthusiasm was so genuine it made topics that weren’t interesting interesting (IDGAF about food but would eagerly read every Snacktaku).

Schreier strikes again

Love the show but wouldn’t’ be sad if this was the last seasons.

Rockwell’s accent did wander a bit but I enjoyed seeing him give an uncharacteristically muted performance and thought he was on the whole pretty good. I don’t think that any of the actors that you mentioned would make sense as Stoppard because they’re all significantly older than Rockwell and therefore really
