I bet Sharon has a ton of stories from that 80s 90s era. Basic Instinct and Total Recall shot her straight to the top of the sexy chick tier. I thought she was actually a pretty solid actress aside from the sexiness factor, but her sexualized celebrity status probably attracted a lot of shady Hollywood weirdos.

Looking at him again I’m going to say part Tommy Lee Jones, part Eric Roberts and an unexpected amount of Shatner.

Weird, I never associated those two before. Recently I had Berenger confused with Eric Roberts.

Whatever happened to Tom Berenger, aka The Poor Man’s Tommy Lee Jones?

The curriculum I’m developing for abstinence-only sex-ed is just printing off this photo and holding it up until the class gets it.

Could’ve been worse.

Now you think if I fuck him, he will become a fine actor? Nobody’s that good in bed.

Woody Allen?  We were already partway there.

Yeah, Baldwin was my first thought. Apparently they did not get along.

Yeah, that producer was for sure Robert Evans. Only name producer who was an actor in golden age Hollywood and in The Sun Also Rises with Ava Gardner.

So the Ava Gardner-canoodling producer is for sure Robert Evans—the legendary “kid stays in the picture” story is about the movie The Sun Also Rises, in which they costarred

Man, Antz just got dark.

Also, a sign that you’ve passed into adulthood is when you realize that Sally Field was 100% in the right to dump that immature jackass.

Thanks for letting me know; that’s really interesting, although I wonder if the board’s logic would be that part of the “graphic” language is actually describing things that happen within the film (the girlfriend accidentally having sex with a corpse, for example).

I think I know roughly how you feel.

Sonic was less of a movement so much as it was a bunch of people saying “this sucks” and the studio thinking “yeah, they have a point.”  As for this?  Yeah, it’s a joke.

I saw the movie once when it first came out on home video, and I always remembered it as a silly, far-fetched movie. I watched it again fairly recently with my kids, and was actually taken aback by its intelligent stance that no, some people don’t belong together and are better off divorced. The mom didn’t drop her

I want a director’s cut of Dune. They released an extended version but without Lynch’s involvement and he didn’t approve, it’s credited to Alan Smithee. Not sure he’d be interested, but it would be cool, with maybe some cleaned up effects work.

I literally can’t tell anymore where shitposting ends and fan entitlement kicks in — like we know Justice League was legitimate, but Sonic the Hedgehog and this just can’t be? No one really believes this or thinks it could have any actual impact, it’s just funny to say so, right?
