Yep, it sucked. We had food, electricity, we could even watch Western German TV. But apart from all that, always having to watch what you say, or who you say to, wasn't fun. It wasn't North Korea! Nobody was dying of hunger. It just didn't feel right! Even to a kid my age (was 11 when we left.)

I'm under 40 and I always leave my manual in gear without the e-brake. In cold climates, the e-brake might freeze and you won't be able to release it. Had that happen, not nice. That's all.

This one is not like the others! That's definitely not a BMW front, to me, it looks more like some Ford truck, but the rest of the vehicle looks to have an even shorter wheelbase than the 1-series. Weird!

Dad calls the 5-o for him, they come and tell the guy to better take acting classes, and right when they are ready to leave, he steps in front of another car...
