Albeit a very evil one!
Just like many of my fellow Europeans, I don't really like Opel. Poor rust prevention in the 80s and 90s, a terribly conservative line-up with nothing really desirable in the last decade, weird customers (and not the funny, or interesting kind of weird) you name it. The brand's perception is their biggest problem.
That's what I was thinking as well.
I don't get this strict separation between manufacturers and dealers in the US. Who is this supposed to help? I'm pretty sure it's not really the customer.
Hm, future classics? Methinks the Corrado VR6 or G60 might also be one. Both engines are a little out of the ordinary but not so much that they become problematic. It was kind of a parts bin special, being cobbled together from different generation of golf and Passat, so spare parts for the oily bits will be available…
O:K. thanks. So google isn't as smart is it claims to be.

I've been of the opinion that Audi has become the new BMW for quite a while now. The new BMW when it comes to all the negative qualities BMW drivers get attributed with, such as ass-hat parking, tailgaiting on the Autobahn, erratic maneuvers without indicating etc.
Aaaaand you wouldn't want to be seen dead in a Carlton?
