Every state buys most of their Police cars from manufacturers that are located within their state to boost their own economy. So it's Bimmers and Audis for Bavarian cops, Mercs for those from Baden-Württemberg, VeeDubs for Lower Saxonia etc.

The Bavarian cops are laughing their .... off at their neighbours in the north and their lowly Opels. And then hoon in style.
