Unfortunately, 20th Century Fox is currently making an X-Men: First Class sequel and as long as they are doing that, they get to keep the film rights to the X-Men. I don't see Fox wanting to give it up unless the sequel and The Wolverine just completely bomb and the franchise becomes unpopular.

To me, it all comes down to the movie explaining WHY he needs to wear this apparatus. As long as it is not one of those "You wanna know how I got this mask?" routines, then I'm sure it'll be fine.

The Bane from the Arkham Aslyum games just wouldn't work in Nolan's "realistic" Batman 'verse. All those implants into Bane's body would probably just lead to a life threatening infection rather than a raspy voice.

Same here. I'm gonna see it because it has Thor and Charlize Theron and I like who they have to play the dwarves and the action looks more LOTR than Twilight, but goddamn, that Kristen Stewart can suck the energy out of a room.
