@improprietary: the way an induction cooktop works, you wouldn't be able to have the custom on-the-fly "shapes" that these honeycombs rely on. Induction cooktops use coils underneath the cooking surface which would have to be preset to the cooking shape.

@mikehtiger: it's most likely slideable. the armrest in my accord slides out and although it covers one of the cupholders, it allows me to rest my elbow on it while my hand is still on the wheel.
