I have parents in their 70s who have a similar knee-jerk *hatred* for HRC. It’s stunning how deep and knee-jerk it is. They are both abstaining from voting (tears of relief from me) because they think Trump is horrible and dangerous. But they cough up everything that Fox News says about her as if its gospel.

I really don’t think Bernie would have stood a chance in the general election. The Republicans were just dying to have him as the nominee, knowing how the word “Socialist” is a dirty word to millions of people - and most importantly it’s dirty word to millions of older Americans, and they’re the most dependable…
