Yup. Bronx accent sounded very distinct from a Brooklyn accent. But no one under the age of 50 or 60 has a differing accent.

I grew up in NYC, as did my father, and my accent sounds nothing like my dad’s. He has a distinct Bronx accent, and I do not know anyone under the age of 50 or 60 who has an accent like that.
