I totally feel you. I prefer the Lifetime cheesy true-ish crime / my man done me wrong gonna get revenge etc. movies but sometimes the catty teenish dramas are fun. And total sucker for Hallmark Christmas movies ( even though they tend to be as white as a blizzard).

Specifically on the issue of social media, though, that gets tricky with me. I do really believe that social media is something we haven’t dealt with before as it relates to employment. The ability of a person’s personal speech to hurt their employer is magnified tenfold, now, and I’m not sure if employers should…

Watching Black women consistently take steps towards advancing the narrative of what it means to be not only fight adversity, but fight for the right to be an individual, often makes me afraid of the burdens placed among you all.

The way she’s stood up for herself has been insanely impressive. She’s always had to deal with racist and misogynistic haters and she’s always done it spectacularly. But this has taken it to another level.
