I never liked Kane anyway, but AlexTurner doing this would have broke my heart.

Everything with Alex Turner is at the very least very good. Except the song 2013, but I tell myself someone else in the band wrote that one, lol.

Oh God, me too, for a moment I thought it was Alex Turner. I am a fan. Blah, blah so he’s more pop now, people whine, that doesn’t erase the amazing music he has done and the new album is better than most pop music.

thoughts on the video, in ascending order of egregiousness:

Anthony Kiedis is a great example of a guy who is not nearly as hot as he thinks he is. I mean, technically, he has a good body and a pretty face. But he’s so NOT attractive for some reason. And he doesn’t know it. He has always reminded me of that obnoxious high school prep jock type.

When I saw picture of Alex Turner next to that headline, my insides died.

One of the top songs in the country right now is such an egregious example of this. Bieber’s “Sorry” is almost a parody of itself. He admits to making the same mistakes over and over again, with no intention to stop, and asks forgiveness without any promise to change.

I wish that you had added this from the article:

POLL

As someone who owns a restaurant, I am fascinated by how many men leave their numbers for our servers. Sometimes it was a table full of guys, and just a number, like the guy didn’t feel he needed to specify or like she shouldn’t concern herself with which one of them left it.

While I don’t condone Miles’ actions, The Last Shadow Puppets are great fukin’ band.

I think Miles Kane is a dick by the sounds of it, and 100% glad he’s being called out for it. That being said, I really like the band (questionable name aside) and I’m quite surprised to see them described as ‘shitty’ in the title. They were even nominated for the Mercury Prize in the UK, which is certainly not

UGH. How hard is it to be professional? Why can’t you just let women do their jobs in peace, for christ’s sake.

This quote from the article jumped out at me in particular:

I’m glad she included the bit about the dude apologizing, and that it didn’t actually make her feel better. This is a whole part of it. “Hey, sorry I sent you a dickpic/called you a slut/grabbed your tits/sent you that explicit email. I don’t know what I was thinking.” “Well, this doesn’t actually make me feel better

Women music journalists have been dealing with harassment from “just-joking!” male interview subjects men since the beginning of the craft time.

Well this isn’t quite right. It has been reported that she was one of several candidates in consideration (among the likes of Amy Schumer, Amy Poehler and Louis CK, who were all reportedly offered the gig, and turned it down). But several sources I’ve read, including Salon and the NYPost, reported that if she was in

I love her! I went to the taping of this last night! It was amazing and so fun! I highly recommend those in NY try to attend a taping. Since it is a new show, it was fairly easy to get tickets than the other late night shows.

I have to say, Samantha Bee is pretty rapidly becoming my favorite late night show. She is wonderfully frank—I think I need to hear someone really smart and funny telling me that no, I am not crazy, these people are full of shit and most political pundits are just scared to say it.
