Help me out here: Did Clinton actually cancel the interview? The article is not clear as the headlines says she cancels, but the body of the article says she went through with it.

This piece did an admirable and deliberate job to emphasize her work and not frame her as simply “Patton Oswalt’s late wife” which would inarguably have garnered more clicks. It doesn’t even mention him until the third paragraph, and does so because he has been such a champion of her work after her death.

The only photos of Michelle we have rights to are of her alongside Patton. So it was either a close, awkward crop, or something resembling the one I used, which I think is actually sort of sweet—especially because he has continued her work.
