Can you update to clarify that MISD is Mansfield ISD?
Mansfield occurs nowhere in the article... and is not explained properly. Mansfield is south of Arlington (itself in between Dallas and Fort Worth) and utilizing a phrase like “Dallas elementary school teacher Stacy Bailey” is largely inaccurate and misleading.
I say

Also love the attitude that they’d rather fire teachers than just make the implication an explicit.

...but they say their current discrimination policy is meant to include LGBTQ youth and staff, even if there is no actual language stating so.

Yea, after not really digging the vibe from the commercials (it all seems too bright and cartoony for me) I don’t think I’m going to see it. I still want to support it, though, so I donated the cost of a couple tickets to a group that was buying out the theater for a local girl’s group.

Always buy Newman’s Own when it’s an option. It’s good food, all the profits go to charity and you get to stare at Paul’s face.

What makes Paul Newman’s action even more interesting is that he did it without outside pressure or posturing. He really was a great guy who walked the walk in so many ways.

The wa comes from warui, the Japanese word for bad. The Japanese spelling of his name (Waruiji) is also an anagram for ijiwaru, cruel.

I always thought “Waluigi” was just stupid as hell. “Wario” at least showed a modium of creativity with flipping Mario’s M upside down, but then they just took Luigi’s name and added “Wa” to it which is just lazy. Though I guess “Wuigi” would sound dumb as well.

I like to think she sat there and did it the hard way. Maybe in solidarity

WELL HE CAN JUST GO TO A DIFFERENT BAKERY.

EDITED: Brian Moylan called Raquel a ‘YouTube Makeup Tutorial that somehow has a soul’ in his recap last week and I cackled like a loon.

She is the GOAT when it comes to the game. The bad stuff doesn’t stick to her and the good is plied so skillfully. I don’t care one way or another about her acting skills, but I just adore watching her play the Hollywood/press game.

Jennifer Garner doesn’t get enough credit for playing the game. In one post she reminded people she’s single (on a night where she looked spectacular), promoted two of her projects, and showed that she can laugh at herself, making her super relatable. Ben Affleck never deserved her.

Oh Adam, you go and get that!!

This is wonderful, but it also reminds me that we as a country have fucked up so badly and repeatedly that we actually have such a thing as “lunch debt” that poor families are subject to.

that is fantastic

Any time I think about forcing gender constructs on babbies, I think of this:
