I still love this show and always will

I enjoy any episode that pairs up
Penny and Sheldon. FYI I do not at all ship them or see them in any sort of romantic context, I just love their comfort with each other and interactions.

I hope your kids don't end up bigots like yourself.

Haha that's funny because I was going to ask about these "other comments" you were referencing. I was wondering if you were being satirical or if you were seeing comments that I wasn't. I agree that the reaction of people says more about them than it does the show.

Is there something wrong with making it explicitly clear to an audience that a character is gay or bisexual? Would there be an issue if Aaron had a wife/girlfriend? And kissed her? That's the problem. If someone is straight it doesn't have to be announced. This is because of heteronormativity, meaning that people

Haha very true. "I like hot people". It's called bisexual. I don't know why it's treated like dirty word.

Wow you really put me in my place there.

This is sort of my point. These portrayals can be positive. But it's not something that happens enough yet.

Well looking at Twitter and some comments on certain threads, there are a lot of people making a big deal out of it. You're absolutely right that it SHOULDNT be a big deal. It's just a guy kissing his partner. I think he kiss shows more about members of the audience than anything.

Lol, this is why it is sort of a big deal. Not what happened on the show itself, but the audience it's being presented to.

Have you SEEN the comments on Twitter? Mainly by straight white males? Yes, I realize Tara is gay, which I am also supportive of. But straight guys don't have an issue with lesbians. And if you read my comment, I said "good" queer representation, thanks. A gay character who exists to simply be gay is in a lot of

She definitely checked out Rosita. Can't remember about Maggie. And she did have a gf but she died like a minute into the prison raid.

I didn't think they were associating homosexuality with being "good". I think it was simply showing that Aaron is a guy who has someone he loves? The person he loves happens to be a man. I think it was just showing that this guy isn't a psychopath. We never saw anything like that with Gareth. With the governor we saw

Maybe they'll have him be like Joe Pesci in Home Alone. Mumbling nonsense words in lieu of cursing.

Like the middle sister on family matters.

True. I don't remember any lines from Eugene or Gabriel either. Amd characters like Carl, Sasha, Carol, Noah only got a couple of lines. And Daryl; I remember two lines and both had the word "shit" in them lol. I do hope we get a little more from Tara moving forward, I love her dry sarcasm. Very little humor in this

To be fair, the same goes for half the cast. One line an episode at most. Mostly they stand around pointing guns. Happens with a large group, I guess that's why they split the group up sometimes.

Your stray thoughts you say Aaron and Eric's kiss isn't a big deal, but it's treated as though it is. I would say that is IS a big deal considering that there is still a lack of good queer representation on tv, how large the audience of TWD is, and how many of them are cishet white males.

Has it ever happened where NONE of the votes count because of idols being played? For instance, if all the votes had gone to Jon and Keith, and none of them counted. Do they cast an entirely new vote but make Jon and Keith immune to it?

Natalie and Reed are really the only two I like.
