And an unusually high buttcrack. The tights were strangely arousing.

Also The Apple only that was 1980.
I loved how the MeowMeowBeenz profile picture of Jeff was definitely him from the pilot episode. Also, loved the throwing of paper balls callback!
I agree in theory, but it seemed obvious to me at least that they wouldn't. I think they just wanted to add some real world strain to their marriage, but I had no doubt they would work out. I now have my doubts about the mother.
Agree, especially considering this episode takes place ten years from now. At this point, Ted and the mother have been married, what, 8 years? If his mom passed away before his wedding 8 years ago, he wouldn't have that reaction.
Well that's not possible, they had the ending planned from the beginning. They had to because they filmed the ending scene with the kids while they were still young, back during the first or second season. So they knew then, whatever the ending was.
The problem with that is that even though the show is called How I Met Your Mother, there's been pretty scant mentions of her until this season and last. It's been much more a story about Ted and his friends, Robin, banging girls, and going to the bar. Which is fine because it's a comedy. But if it turns out she's…
Yeah, I don't care if Jeff and Annie get together, but it would be nice if there was some conclusion or resolution to their on-off Unresolved Sexual Tension. As for Annie and Abed, I genuinely love their relationship, and Annie seems able to handle Abed's whimsy more than most. However, I don't feel as though Annie…
I just HAD to "aww!"
Mine isn't until next week. This week is midterms. I need to bear down. Oh wait, too soon?
Too soon!
Yeah, I feel the same way. If DH wanted to go the J/B route again, I'd be okay with it, as it would at least feel more organic than it did early on in the show, but I don't really feel the romance between them and never did. They're more like sometimes-incestuous siblings. In addition, I wouldn't like if they once…
Fully agree, especially considering Abed has been painted somewhat antagonistically this season.
Sounds like a wonderful plan! Lol
Well, I didn't have any trouble understanding it, so for me, there was no reason for it to be better put across. But since there are audience members that didn't get it in these comments, including you, yes, maybe it could've been explained more.
Interestingly, the Professor who taught the "Who WAS the Boss?" class also pronounced it "Ah-BED".
Hickey doesn't know Abed well. Was he supposed to say "Gee Abed, you've never reacted this way before." When Britta broke Abed with Cougarton Abbey, it wasn't commented on. Like "Wow, Abed just totally shut down which hasn't happened before." I don't believe that the first time a character does an action needs a…
Also, He definitely yelled during the Nic Cage episode. That was pretty much ALL yelling. When Abed doesn't understand things, it agitates him. How many times has Abed been "broken"? Even if he didn't yell as a result. In addition, again, this is the FIRST TIME in his life that Abed's wishes have not only been…
Because at that point, he had already missed his movie!! That wasn't manipulation, that was anger and somewhat confusion as to what had just taken place.
No I'm not sayig the entire interaction was manipulation. Abed was trying to bond by stating his interests and trying his best to show interest in what Hickey was doing. The manipulation came into play AFTER he was handcuffed. I understand and relate to Abed as a character more than most.
