It was very professional, she said please when she should have just said fuck off.

Literally the only reply it deserves. A cursory attempt to educate yourself about that word and the power imbalance inherent in the oppressed reclaiming it versus an outsider would help, were you to be arguing in good faith.

Please take this comment back to 1997 where it belongs.

I mean sure, some Latinos are black, but not all. The black ones can say it!

Remy Ma? Not surprised. I mean, a lot of black people from NYC have a very chill approach to non-black people saying the N-word. I, for one, do not have the patience for it lol.

Yeah, that’s why I said Raisen seems to have a case. If his story is true, there should be physical evidence of it as well as witnesses.

Your case is always much easier if you can prove access, since independent creation is a bar to an infringement suit. Most cases like this fail because the plaintiff can’t prove access and the similarities are not close enough.

Her “apology” is the most smarmy, passive aggressive shit I’ve seen this year and it’s 2019 I’ve seen a LOT of passive aggressive shit ok??!!

So why would a woman who is semi-regularly pissing off black people boldly post a video of herself singing “nigga” on Instagram for her 4.4 million followers to see? Great question. Either Rodriguez believes that some convoluted race math gives her a pass, she’s a glutton for drama, she thinks that singing it doesn’t

This seems like one of those things a lot of people could’ve come up with independently...

Well yeah I mean I figure anybody can kind of come to that conclusion with even needing an explainer...?

I considered doing a “music copyright explainer” but I have too much work to do.

Hell I love her too, I have given her a lot of my money! But damn, when something is fucked up it’s fucked up

Because everyone loves Lizzo so no one wants to acknowledge this.

Well my DNA results said I’m 0.3% Sardinian, so how bout that?

I don’t know what to say!  I refreshed because I didn’t want to be the first to comment.  I am disappoint. :/

Sounds...pretty damning.

Yep, been there. I had an emergency c-section and afterwards, a nurse VERY FORCEFULLY applied pressure to my abdomen (some kind of check? I don’t know, I was out of it.) It was so painful. I told her to stop and she didn’t. Finally, the other nurse told her to not apply so much pressure (because c-section). That nurse
