Right? It almost makes me sympathetic to Kylie. If you don’t want late-capitalist lifestyle porn, get off my lawn!

Yeah, maybe I’m biased, but I’d rather see her buy a Chiron than pretty much any Lamborghini.

People who follow celebrities of this, uh, caliber, and then get mad at them for conspicuous consumption, are insane. Why not go to the dentist and get annoyed with all this chit-chat about teeth?

I applaud her taste in autos. But then I love cars. The Chiron is an amazing hyper car. Maybe next time, invest in a McLaren Speedtail or Lamborghini Centurario. At least it’s not some unoccupied penthouse in Manhattan. Maybe she should just keep the purchases private. Now I’m off to watch a real car collection on

Dancers are (illegally) classified as “independant contractors” not employees, so they aren’t covered by any of the protections other shift workers get. That’s why they have to pay rent/house fees to work. In some places the those fees are high as $130 per night, other places it’s as low as $30; and in some places

Dancers have to pay house fees when they dance. So they have to pay to work everyday they work. They have to pay stage fees to dance on the stage. Then if they hit some infraction they might owe the house for that as well. On top of that they have to tip other people that work at the club like the bouncer, house mom

She was saying that upon returning to work, the house fee could have at least been waived since the dancers were out of work for a week without compensation.

And you’d think the Pizzagate people would be all over it since they’re so serious about getting the pedos.

I do find it bizarre how the press haven’t moved from Epstein to the fact every single one of his friends seems to be some form of scum.

This makes so much sense. If you found out one of your friends was a vicious sex trafficker and rapist, of course your first thought would be, ‘damn, better let him down easy’. It’s so plausible and makes Prince Andrew look completely in touch with reality and the concept of consequences.

“He went to see a friend to tell them he couldn’t be their friend anymore.”

I wonder if this kind of thing is going to keep happening, Katie Ledecky broke women’s swimming (and is only getting started), Phelps did the same for men’s, Usain Bolt did it for men’s track and field, and Biles has destroyed female gymnastics. Are we in a golden age of athleticism or is it just going to get crazier

Simone actually now has four eponymous skills, the triple double is called the Biles II because there already was a Biles on Floor Exercise - a double layout with a half twist. She debuted the original Biles in 2013. Then she did the Biles vault in 2018, and now the Biles on beam, and the Biles II on floor in 2019.

At an age when most gymnasts would be thinking of retiring, Simone Biles is all: “Never been done before? Hold on, I got this”

the Queen lightly slapped him across the face”

I’m not saying he *couldn’t* do it, just that the resort is to blame for this and they should cover the refund expense.

Seriously, don’t feel bad for those people. I posted above - my parents live at the resort. First of all, yes, they are generally assholes. Second, the place is structured to look like an old slave plantation, with a literal ‘big house’ and slave cabins where the guests stay. Third, there are 4 pools and at least 5

Disagree. I think this is on the resort. They made the decision to accommodate the Bieber requests at the expense of their other guests.

South Carolina seems like an appropriate venue for a Joe Dirt theme wedding. I assume that’s the look he’s been cultivating for a while now.
