It is uncanny...

I have a close friend who worked on Long Island Medium in editing and described it as the most soul crushing experience ever. He also thought that the woman was a piece of human trash for conning people. I imagine this is quite the same.

Plus, while it seems that Dorinda is living on Columbian marching powder now, Sonja seems to have cut back significantly on the...whatever the hell she was on.

Sonja is charming and basically nice. Plus, she has just the right level of looniness. Love her.

I think the reason Sonja is back to being fun to watch is that she’s either stopped or significantly curbed her drinking. Drunk Sonja was a train wreck in a bad (like, worrisome) way, whereas Sober Sonja dating age-appropriate men is just her in her natural habitat being her naturally non-alarming self.
