Disagree.
Disagree.
Anyone else surprised by such a high rating on such a flawed episode?
With Ep7 Broadsword. the Inquisitors BlenderSaber and now Ezra's NailgunSaber then this seems like the right time to watch this.
Seriously. Unless the mesh was powered by a pilots weird grimaces then what good is a pilot once the net is established?
There are people who love Rebels only because it's Star Wars and I don't mind that at all. But What bugs me is when someone loves Rebels but never watched Clone Wars (usually because it's part of the prequels. TCW enhances the prequels so much I wish they could condense it to a 2 part film)
Just curious, but why not? If Disneys goal is to expand the universe then it would probably make more sense to use lesser known but recognizable characters rather than do the obvious Han or Yoda origin stories. So characters like Boba Fett and Ahsoka are prime candidates.
But… But…. But… She wears that awesome mask!
I agree about Sabine. Considering how badass the Clone Wars Mandalorians where then she just doesn't fit the mold. She really should've been written as a reluctant member of the team because it would've given her some much needed depth
Hera - Maybe it's a gender based interpretation but I felt she got played by Lando by being told she was being bartered last second rather than in advance.
Ugh. If Luke was that whiny as a late teen then can you imagine him at 14? I'd much prefer Leia who seems infinitely more mature (and useful) than him.
How did Exra learn to build a light saber? Holocron? It just seems odd that Kanaan wouldn't know its capabilities or be involved in building it.
Aww. Cmon geeky conversations are supposed to embrace the inconsequential debates of what's possible and impossible in sci fi. :)
Hmmm… Annoying young lead character that doesnt actually earn the incredibly fast progress to super-special status?
The animation that jumped at me in this episode was how small Ezra is. Unlike Ahsoka who always looked like a young teen next to Anakin and Obi-Wan, Ezra just looks like a scaled down adult next to Kanaan. It makes it really distracting to see wide shots of him with the group.
I still don't love it, but in a world where Jedi have to hide their weapons then Ezra's StaplegunSaber is more discreet than Kanaan's Beltbucklesaber.
Annual Star Wars Movies = Minor Characters get Films
"The Puffer Pig seemed to fit right in with Mynocks, Ewoks, and Tauntauns "
I'm a fan of Lando and Billy Dee Williams, but if he's written anything like the Rebels Lando then I can do without him in the postquels.
But then why did I go to Hoth during the Empire invasion?
Thats probably why they animated Azmorigan so oddly. If he was some good looking scoundrel it would've been pretty creepy. (But then again Hera and that dude would've been super creepy too. Okay. I'm done thinking about it.)
