I’m guilty of having followed bad and dangerous orders on set in my youth, more times than I’d like to admit. Now that I’m a mom, I look back and think, “I’d kick BabyStu’s ass if he ever agreed to do this stuff.” But the truth is, it’s a competitive business. If you won’t do it, there’s someone else who will. And

It’s so awful that the onus is on the crew to say “no, that is not safe”. My friends all have had stories of being told to do something dangerous that could have resulted in serious injury. Some felt comfortable enough to say “go talk to hall if you have a problem” but most just did it. It’s awful.

Fun fact: Vic Marrow’s daughter is Jennifer Jason Lee but they were estranged at the time of his death. I don’t think she’s even spoken about him publicly. At least not about the crash.

Everyone in the industry (below the line, anyway) is still furious about what happened to Sarah Jones. And the continuing attempts to shift blame away from careless and greedy producers who just wanted to “get the shot.”

They temporarily shut down the show with no “we’ll be back up in X amount of days.” It’s more serious than they’re saying.

Filming stunts is incredibly dangerous, even in the best of circumstances. There are safety meetings, rules set up, areas cordoned off and still, accidents happen. It’s one of the reasons crew members have been pushing so hard to have stunt people recognized with an Oscar.

Filmmaking can actually be really dangerous, especially for stuntmen, but also for the crew.

This is a horrible comment. I don’t know if he did take artifacts or not. He denied it after. But even if he did, this is still undeserved. Everyone does stupid and irresponsible things in their lives. Young people are notorious for doing stupid stuff they regret later. You sound like those idiots who justify cops

We prefer the term “Necromancer Americans”

I feel like they’re downplaying his injuries. Getting run over by a car, while shooting a car stunt, doesn’t really mesh with the “for observation and treatment” statement. He’s incredibly lucky if he doesn’t end up undergoing major surgery.

Before now, I never really recognized the very present danger of action movie shoots.

Step one: DON’T PUT IT IN THE MICROWAVE, YOU DRIVELING HEATHEN.

I think it’s funny you think comedy writers are *highly paid*

Or Taylor Swift.

I can only imagine. Especially since you never know what post-pregnancy will bring health-wise. Sometimes it calms existing conditions and sometimes it worsens them.

That’s actually a misconception — people with epilepsy, neurologic conditions, or tumors can have seizures as part of their every day life. It really is that easy. Sometimes it’s triggered by something like flashing lights, sometimes you get what’s called an aura first (which in this case looks like it was the zoning

Actually being epileptic myself, they can happen that easily.

Amy Schumer does not need to apologize for having a great fucking year. She should make a promo where she’s taking a victory lap and she’s ......I dunno, holding two flaming dildos up as torches*

I love her. I know that’s not the consensus on this site, but I think she’s awesome and hilarious and I’m so excited for this next season.

I feel bad for female celebrities’ real life best friends, because they are always replaced by Jennifer Lawrence.
