Yeah, I'm not going to waste my time reading this. But from what I did read, it's kind of depressing that this is the trash we're letting into our nation's top universities.

@STICKSnSCONES: I read somewhere that the age of consent in Alaska is 16. Also, if they have a Romeo and Juliet law, it likely covers an age difference of two years — so if she was 16 and he 18 at the time of conception, it's legal.

@LaComtesse: It certainly threatens it, though. And especially for those who, unlike Bristol Palin, are in financial positions that prevent them from being able to make other choices for themselves (e.g., attending college) while raising a baby.

I had this creepy-yet-awesome calendar a few years back where old-fashioned Barbies were posed in different settings. These outfits totally look like something Barbie, Midge, and the gang would have worn, especially Diane Kruger's.

@sanibelly: My thought is that they consider sex more of a sin if they plan for it (i.e., use contraception). This is why so many of my friends from my Catholic college now have babies.

@JinxyMcDeath: I agree with you. This young women was done a disservice by her parents. Lack of comprehensive sex education leads to unwanted pregnancies like this one. Thank God my parents did not take this approach.

@shewar: I won't date anyone shorter than me, either. My boyfriend is 5'11 to my 5'10 and honestly I wish he were taller. I have a shoe rack full of heels I never wear anymore. I realize how shallow this is.
