@Archetype: Damn, I'm jealous. I have one. But two hours till the liquor store (a block away) closes. Mr. Fluff might give me a weird look if I run out to buy more wine to keep up with the other Jezzies, though.

@legalgrrl: Yay! Great time to delurk. Welcome!
@feelingHELLAstabby: Definitely wrinkly!
@feelingHELLAstabby: That makes him look like a stroke victim.
My cable just went out... I hope my boyfriend gets home in time to fix it. You know, so he feels needed and all.
@NOLA girl: I have vodka in the freezer if I run out of wine. This cannot be good.
@PilgrimSoul: I will be there!
@KittenFluff: Pilgrim, I already see what you meant earlier about the annoying cuts to Michelle Obama!
@BlowJoy: Oh man, I wish I had seen that!
Hi everyone. I am here with a bottle of wine. Right now I'm watching last night's HRC speech on DVR, even though I think I've gotten most of the best bits from the interwebs today.
@TeFrey: YES, thank you. This is what I have been trying to say. We need to stop giving these people press.
@KittenFluff: Same goes for PUMA, by the way. One of its founders is a long-term McCain supporter, having donated to his 2000 campaign, yet mysteriously never to Clinton: [yestodemocracy.org]
One of the founders of Clinton4McCain has donated to the Dole and Bush campaigns in the past. I would not be shocked if the majority of its members are Republicans in disguise.
That is so sad about Del Martin. She only got to be married for what, two months? That is an injustice if ever I've heard one. This couple was together for nearly 60 years.
"In a shocking twist of events," she typed sarcastically.
@BlowJoy: I learned the N word from my black uncle, so I guess I have free rein over that one, too?
@clamatohead: I don't understand what using spray deodorant or tanning have to do with feminism. Clarification, please?
@PilgrimSoul: Ha, fair enough. Although, while I have read all of her books to date, I am going to skip her new one, One Fifth Avenue or whatever, because it sounds like a return to the more materialistic crap she used to write about. LJ was pretty solid, though... it aaalmost made me want to DVR the show, but not…
@TinaTuna: I read your other comment and totally get where your first comment came from. No worries!
@PilgrimSoul: Have you read Lipstick Jungle? I'm not even kidding, I found that book surprisingly solid on feminist issues — it was, overall, a far more substantive read than her previous efforts. (I read Sex and the City, Four Blondes, and Trading Up in my literarily misspent youth.) You can borrow my copy if you're…
