@TastyBites: The snippets from this article don't sound like normal concern for a child, though. They sound like people trying to get their daughters on the public-grooming train way too early.

I consider this child sexual abuse. These parents, and the salon technicians who enable them, should be reported to Child Protective Services. This is not right. A child of eight is in no position to consent to having her private area waxed.
